Food Matching Note :
Drink chilled as an aperitif or with a wide variety of foods, particularly chicken, fish and pasta with cream sauces.
Tasting Note :
This deliciously complex wine displays full, fresh pineapple and melon characters on the palate. The wine has lots of appeal, rather more like a New World Chardonnay than a typical Old World style, but doesn't sacrifice style for obvious fruit.
Vinification Note :
The Chardonnay grapes were selected for their ripeness and clarity of fruit and vinified in stainless steel. Fermentation was kept cool and controlled to allow the natural flavours to flourish without the use of wood.
