Food Matching Note :
Sublime with one of the following: roast turkey with hazelnut stuffing and a white wine gravy, citrus tarragon braised chicken or fried fish with Moroccan-style herb and Chardonnay sauce.
Tasting Note :
The bouquet is intense, ample and elegant with a hint of honey and wild flowers. Dry and smooth on the palate with good balance and an exceptionally long finish.
Vinification Note :
Soil: Marl and sand. Vine Training: Guyot with 6000 vines per ha. Alcohol: 13.5% Acidity: 5.5 g/l Ageing: 11 months in small French oak barrels.
